Historic Diamond Caverns was discovered in 1859 and is one of the oldest show caves in the country. The ambient temperature in the cavern is a constant 58 F, and it features flowstone formations as well as stalactites and stalagmites. One hour, 1/2 mile tours are offered, which include over 350 stair steps.
The penny machine is located inside the atrium of the lodge, on the left of the entrance to the Cave Tours and Gift Shoppe. Design is:
1) An explorer holding aloft a lantern inside a cavern formed inside the diamond logo, with "Diamond Caverns" written above and "Park City, Kentucky" below
